A HERO’S JOURNEY! 1946 – the story of a heroic journey begins to evolve!
For 75 years now, the Held brand has stood for innovative motorcycle clothing with the highest level of safety and maximum comfort at the same time.
It all started in 1946 with the foundation of the Held company by Bruno Held and the production of fashionable gloves in Burgberg in the Allgäu region of Southern Germany. In the mid 1970’s the focus shifted to the production of protective gloves, which were then adapted to the special needs of motorcycling in the years that followed. The big breakthrough finally followed in 1983, when a completely new glove was developed together with Toni Mang, the most successful German motorcyclist of all time. The foundation stone for the Held brand’s success story in the field of motorcycle clothing and accessories had been laid.
Parallel to successful development in the glove sector, a constant expansion and further development of the complete Held product range also took place.
Today Held offers the right equipment for every biker type, from one-piece leather suits and textile combinations through to biker jeans, boots and various must have accessories.
